ADL started in 1962 making non-asbestos materials to protect cables and hoses from flames and molten metal splash and has evolved to making Pyrojacket VCO firesleeve. Pyrojacket® VCO can withstand repeated exposures to molten steel, molten aluminum and molten glass up to 3000°F (1650°C).
Designed to protect workers against burns from hot hoses and it is also used to protect hydraulic hoses and electrical cable assemblies from flames and molten metal splash.
